Tia Nicole Lui was raised in Houston,  Texas and is a costume designer, supervisor, and technician currently based in Los Angeles, California.   Tia has a wide range of experience in all aspects of costuming work,  and is passionate about all disciplines.  Tia enjoys figure skating as a hobby and  specializes    in the design & construction of figure skating costumes, dance-wear, and all things stretch.

Coming from a theater background, Tia is very focused on character study and  delving into the world of the script. Tia has a particular affinity towards sci-fi and horror projects and really enjoys being able to create new worlds and styles in the wardrobe. Tia's experience in design, supervising, and custom-made work makes her a valuable  asset to any team.​

Tia is a proud member of IATSE Local 705 and holds a dual BFA in Costume Design and Costume Technology from The Theater School at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
